Question #1: Can I purchase Kitchen, Bath and Flooring items directly from you?
Answer: Yes, we are a complete Kitchen, Bath and Flooring Retailer as well as a complete Design and Installation company. Unlike most of our competition we sell individual products to Consumers, Contractors, Designers and other trade professionals. We provide services from design through installation and anywhere in between. We will be happy to work with you and your contractor. We truly are your complete resource for your home remodeling needs.
Question #2: How does the remodeling process work? Do you take care of everything? Or do I?
Answer: There is no need for you to play General Contractor, if you don’t want to. From design to drywall, electric to plumbing, we are a full-service company. Of course, if you wish to do the work yourself, we will provide you with the materials. Or maybe all you want is help designing the layout of the room. You decide how involved you would like us to be with your project.
Question #3: What is my responsibility or how do I prepare for the start of my job?
Answer: First, check the traffic path that you want the installers to use in your home. Is the space clear and easy to walk through; are all breakables moved to another location?
Second, clear all personal items out of the room we are to work in. If there are any items in the room that we are to save, make sure they are clearly marked.
Third, if we are working in your kitchen, you will want to plan for your meals ahead of time. Also, be prepared if the job takes longer than expected…we sometimes find surprises after we start.
Finally, if you have any children or pets please make sure to keep them clear of the work zone in order to keep them safe from injury. Our installers are always careful to eliminate or minimize damages that may come from installing, moving or accidentally dropping tools or materials. If the installer needs to watch for their safety, the project may take longer to complete.
Question #4: What should I expect from the installers working in my home?
Answer: Your installer will be courteous and neat. They will make the jobsite as safe as possible at the end of the day. Our installers are professional and they will do everything expected of them as per your contract. If you want to change your job in any way, speak directly with your designer.
Question #5: When you finish my project, what state will my home be in?
Answer: Although we try to contain the dust as much as we can, your home will most likely need a more intensive cleaning after we are done.
Question #6: You remodeled my home 2 years ago and my faucet doesn't work, what do I do now?
Answer: Our warranty is for one year. After that, there is a charge for our service calls. All other warranties are by the manufacturers of the various products. Most often we provide the repair service for the manufacturers warranty.
